3D Animation Colleges

The majority of animation programs provide a strong foundation in drawing, sculpting, storyboarding and writing. Most programs cover topics such as human motion, physics and psychology as they relate to creating two-dimensional and three-dimensional characters. Most programs cover the techniques for applying audio and video to animated works and executing post-production. Students who choose to study in animation programs learn about and work with the equipment and software that is unique to animation and will be used in the workplace.

There are generally many types of jobs open to those who have been trained in animation. Motion control animators animate models and computer generated images based on how an object or person moves in the real world. Materials specialists build three-dimensional models and are responsible for building the World Trade Center designs or hotel plans. Feature film animators create two and three dimension digital animation for the motion picture industry.

Animators give life to objects and ideas. Animation education is essential for those wishing to learn the necessary skills for working within the industry and understand the opportunities available to them.
