AutoCAD Drafting Schools
Drafters and blueprint designers are facing stiff competition as growth rate for new opportunities continues to decline. In order to remain relevant in this changing economy, many are turning to AutoCAD drafting schools for help.
In the design world, drafting refers to drawing up the schematics or blueprints used by:

Most programs focus on the essentials of computer-aided design and drafting, including:

- drafting techniques and methodologies

- 2D art, 3D art, and CAD technology
Thereafter, it is possible to specialize in areas specific to a given industry. Drafters who design for factories might need to incorporate thermodynamics and safety regulations into their curricula, while drafters who work for residential architecture firms might be more concerned with aesthetics, HVAC, and comfort.
AutoCAD Drafting Schools and Career Outlook
According to the US Department of Labor, new opportunities for drafters are not expected to keep pace with the national average for most other occupations. However, the Department of Labor is also quick to point out that whatever opportunities do emerge are likely to go to those with the most formal training, especially if that training includes computer-aided design technology. In other words, the more AutoCAD expertise you have under your belt, the better.
